Cives Steel Northern Division
Cives Steel Northern Division is located between the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and the St. Lawrence River in upstate New York. As one of the company’s original plants in 1952, it originally serviced the local fabricated miscellaneous and ornatemal steel projects. During its long history, our Northern Division has grown to provide heavy structural steel to growing markets, including the numerous nuclear power plants built throughout the 70s and 80s to major commercial projects in New York City.
These commercial projects include high rises, stadiums, airports, and healthcare projects. While many projects center around New York City and the surrounding boroughs, other major areas include Syracuse, Albany, Buffalo, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Northern Division is a state-of-art steel fabrication facility utilizing the latest and most efficient robotic and CNC-driven machinery that thrives on complex steel structures across all categories of building construction.

Buffalo Bills Stadium
Buffalo Bills project is being fabricated by Cives Steel Company – Northern Division in Gouverneur, NY. There is a total of 26,000 tons of steel being erected on the project. Erection started in early February and will continue until February of 2025.
